Paris Viry Cup, Lucas l'emporte � domicile

Joli score pour la première épreuve de la National Cup qui a eu lieu à Viry Chatillon le 9 et 10 mai. Une vingtaine de concurrents avaient fait le déplacement au départ des plans d'eau d'Ile de France, de Bretagne et même de Corse.

Durant les régates d'entraînement du vendredi, les barreurs ont pu se familiariser avec les particularités de ce plan d'eau très tactique. 6 courses, 2 slaloms et 2 O'pen Cross ont été lancés dans un vent de force 2 et 3.

Samedi, le temps orageux a usé les nerfs des jeunes barreurs avec de nombreux calmes et quelques risées dont ont su profiter les meilleurs. A ce petit jeu, c'est Vianney Bergot du Club d'Arradon (56) qui tire le mieux son épingle du jeu, suivi comme son ombre par Lucas Valenza du CN Viry, Elodie Millanvois et Thibault Morel. 5 départs ont ainsi été envoyés.

Dimanche, profitant du retour d'un vent plus régulier, Lucas Valenza remporte 4 manches sur les 6 courues, dont le raid et prend l'avantage sur le Breton. Sa bonne connaissance du plan d'eau et sa vitesse ont fait la différence. Notons la belle prestation des féminines qui occupent les 3e et 4e places au classement scratch.

Pas moins de 10 manches ont été courues lors de cette première étape de la National Cup et l'esprit fun de l'O'pen BIC a soufflé tout au long de ce beau week-end. Le CN Viry a super assuré avec une organisation sur l'eau sans faille, de nombreuses animations à terre et une très belle remise des prix. Un grand merci également à la ligue Ile de France qui participe activement au développement de l'O'pen BIC dans cette région.

Prochain rendez vous à Ajaccio du 21 au 23 juin !
