German O'pen BIC Race Calendar 2010
The German O'pen BIC class association has set up the O'pen BIC race calendar 2010. This year, the popular youth dinghy O'pen BIC starts its second race season and is able to raise the enthusiasm amongst German O'pen BIC Sailors again. There are 14 regattas already listed in the calendar and there are more to come!
Over 100 kids were listed in the overall ranking of 2009. The current season will see even more competitors taking part in the German O'pen BIC Cups. The highlight of the German race calendar will be held in August 2010. The GERMAN O'PEN CUP will take place from 27th to 29th August in Surendorf near Kiel. Foreign O'pen BIC sailors are more than welcome to participate in the German O'pen BIC Cups.
All further dates of regattas and training camps can be found in the attached calendar (click on "download file" at the end of this news). Also in 2010, the German class association will offer charter boats for all participants who don't yet own an O'pen BIC. Further information about the charter program can be obtained from the organisers of the several O'pen BIC Cups.
